Principal of Greenwood Capital, joined the firm(1) in February, 2002. Mr. Todd serves as a Chief Investment Officer for Greenwood Capital. In addition to these responsibilities, he serves as a portfolio manager and stock analyst. Prior to joining Greenwood Capital, he served as an Investment Banking Associate at Lehman Brothers Global Real Estate Group in New York. He has also worked as an analyst for First Union Capital Markets Group in Charlotte. Mr. Todd received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University, where, upon graduation, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. Mr. Todd earned his M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar in May 1999.
(1) Prior to 2001, the term firm refers to Greenwood Capital Associates, Inc. (GCAI) which was established in 1983. On or about June 29, 2001, Greenwood Capital Associates, LLC acquired substantially all the assets of GCAI, a sub-chapter S corporation. Greenwood Capital Associates, LLC registration dates back from 2001.
