Vice President of Greenwood Capital, joined the firm in August 2011. Mr. Butler serves as a private client advisor for Greenwood Capital. He has over 23 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Greenwood Capital, he was the Chief Investment Officer for Miami Corporation, the family office of a prominent Chicago family. He also served as a Senior Vice President and portfolio manager for The Chicago Corporation. Mr. Butler is a graduate of Williams College (B.A.) and of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (M.B.A.).

On or about June 29, 2001, Greenwood Capital Associates, LLC acquired substantially all the assets of GCAI, a sub-chapter S corporation. Greenwood Capital Associates, LLC registration dates back from 2001.
